The Great Sephiroth

[Private to Genesis//Unhackable]

How lucky your Sable showed up, or you'd be all alone by now.

[Private to Kadaj//Unhackable]

[His tone conveys plainly: not a word about cherry tomatoes.]

Brother.

You know, Kadaj, if there's one good thing about this place it's that you can't just order pizza.

That, and the family time.

[Soft, with the hint of a sigh. There is a great deal of conflict in Sephiroth's voice, from his simple acceptance to his weariness, the youthful, even naive, wonder coupled against the weight which speaks of burdens no child should bear.]

Hm.

...This again.

The Great Sephiroth

- stole Her from me again!

[He chuckles, composing himself as much as Sephiroth really can. But his voice still shudders with a laugh, an almost delirious kind of amusement rippling within, absolutely murderous.]

But nothing can keep us apart for long. You all know it. You must. Even your kind can't be quite so stupid, could you? But it never stops you all trying. Why, it's little wonder Atra dubs you all ants. You act exactly the same, after all. But...

[At some point, his voice changed again, becoming softer, reflective.]

We'd expect nothing more, after all. You're scarcely even worthy of any of it...

No matter. It'll all come in time. Mother has everything She needs, after all.

It's only ever a matter of time.

((orz I am totally open for plots, guys. Hit me here or on AIM. The man needs exercised.))

Karasu.

Since I'm not currently blinded by dependency on an alien virus, I've got the courtesy to give you a warning.

Cross my path, and SOLDIER powers or not, I will kill you.

Clear?

[Those who've been around a while might recognise Sephiroth's voice. It remains cool, crisp, distant, but it lacks that sharp edge of madness, the danger, the deadliness, the need to poison all around it. In fact, judging by his tone, he's just that little bit bemused.]

Hm. This again? Only citywide this time, it seems...

[Quieter, speaking to himself.]

I don't think I've ever been this physically weak before. Strange.

Tch.

Ridiculous.

[He realizes his communicator is on. Time to make this look intentional, much like a cat tumbling off a chair.]

Such trivial, human things. As if I'd need or want any of it. I have all that matters. I have Her with me.

((WHAT THE HELL HTML SHEESH /hides))

[In any other situation, this would be the older brother scolding his younger. A shame, then, that it's coloured with that edge of madness, not only anger but something far darker.]

Fools. You think to drown him in Mother's Love?

You think him worthy of it?

Get him out of there.

The Great Sephiroth
01 February 2009 @ 03:17 pm
[Sephiroth's breathing is low, laboured, though he does do a rather good job of keeping it all in check. That might just be the anger - and, perhaps, a little confusion - sweeping over it.]

You...

What's happening?

It's... the book...

Isn't it?

The Great Sephiroth
16 December 2008 @ 10:55 pm
[Sephiroth sounds even more pleased with himself than usual. His every word drips with that intoxicatin sureity, a laugh skirting around the edges of his voice, oddly delighted. There's a slight note of imbalance in his voice, perhaps as close to joy as he's ever like to come again.]

I suppose I should credit your creativity, Rufus...

[The audible grin widens.]

But I told you I'd find them eventually. And now look what you've done. I don't think you really thought this one through, did you?

[There's a low, female moan in the background, a sound of shifting - and, abruptly, the moan dissolves into a gurgle, with the sound of metal slicing air.]

Your Turks weren't worth much either, it seems... But I suppose that's only to be expected.

[He takes a deep breath, as though grounding himself, but the smile is still there. Soft. Peaceful. Placated for the time being. But there's still a command in it, a power that makes itself known even through the communicators.]

And so falls the first. And with it, Reunion comes closer. Who among you are brave enough to embrace it? This will be Her second advent.

[And now, it turns sharper again. His footsteps are heavy, full of purpose.]

Wesker. I hope you're ready.

((So, Sephiroth knocked out Cissnei and Elena, killed Rufus, stole the Jenova cells he was hiding in his neck, and is now prancing around causing more wanton mayhem. Also, thanks to this little surge of power, you might notice that in some buildings, there are Sephiroth clones - the frail, black-cloaked figures from FFVII. If you manage to get a look at them, they're pale and very sickly under the hoods, and babbling about Sephiroth, Reunion, Mother, all those lovely things. Some will just be hunched, rocking back and forth slightly or swaying, some will be circling or pacing, and some will be still, but none will be aggressive. After a minute or so of seeing them, they'll flicker out of existence.))

You all thought it would work, didn't you?

[He laughs, sharp and cruel. That pull for Reunion is getting stronger.]

You might have managed to set me back, but you all knew it was only a minor delay.

I suppose I've got a lot of making up to do, haven't I?

[And as he says it, there's a stab of pain for Schuldig, a rush of command for anyone ever been victim to it.]

Rufus, are you still hiding in that basement? I think you've still got something of mine. And you, Wesker. I haven't forgotten about you, or any of you.

Kadaj. This is Mother's will. Come with me, my brother, or I'll crush you with the rest of them.

You cannot be that stupid.

The Great Sephiroth
I debated whether or not telling you all was a good idea, but I figure it's probably best if you know.

Zelda has reason to believe she knows roughly when I'm going to go again. And whilst I don't put much hold in prophetic dreams, seems the last one was fairly accurate.

Apparently that dark tower out to sea isn't just going to be heralding dreams next time it comes near.

The Great Sephiroth

I suppose I should be happy he's... Alive, at least. I'm going to find him. Angeal. Do you want to join me?

[Private to Elena//Unhackable]

I'm sure I don't have to tell you to avoid gettig caught by Wesker. But, just in case, I'm keeping an eye on you when I can. That's not up for negotiation.

This again. Well, it does complicate things.

Karasu. Where are you now? I think it's about time we had a talk.

I'll be taking over any of Genesis' duties in the Task Force whilst he's gone and I'm like this. Except the unnecessary playing the primadonna.

Karasu.

[Sephiroth's voice is smooth, low, the usual, but there's a definite cold spike of anger through it, iron hard.]

You wouldn't happen to have any idea where Genesis is, would you?

Or where you are?

The Great Sephiroth

[For anyone who's heard Sephiroth's voice before, there's a marked difference. There's still a light note of amusement in the low tones, but it's neither cruel, nor cold. Cool, definitely, but not cold. And it's actually a nice voice, for once, not just some skin-crawling parody of it.]

There are far more pleasant ways to be woken than with a wolf cub laving the fingers, for the record.
